Tramadol 37.5 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg Tablet
Tramadol/Paracetamol tablets are indicated for the management of symptoms of moderate to severe pain.
Enhanced pain relief: Tramadol is an opioid analgesic, while Paracetamol is a non-opioid analgesic. By combining both drugs in one tablet, they can work synergistically to provide more effective pain relief than either medication alone.
Broad spectrum of pain management: The combination of Tramadol and Paracetamol covers a wide range of pain types and intensities. They can be beneficial for managing moderate to severe pain, including acute and chronic conditions such as postoperative pain, musculoskeletal pain, or neuropathic pain.
Reduced opioid reliance: Tramadol is an opioid, but the addition of Paracetamol allows for a lower dose of Tramadol to be used while still achieving effective pain control. This can help minimize the potential risks associated with higher doses of opioids, such as dependence, respiratory depression, and constipation.
Improved tolerability: Paracetamol has a different mechanism of action compared to Tramadol, which may contribute to improved tolerability of the combination. Some individuals may experience fewer side effects or find the combination easier to tolerate than higher doses of Tramadol alone.
Convenience and simplified dosing: Combining Tramadol and Paracetamol into a single tablet simplifies dosing and helps ensure appropriate ratios of each medication are administered. This can enhance adherence to the prescribed regimen and reduce the risk of errors in taking multiple medications separately.

Tramadol belongs to the group of medicines called opioid analgesics. It works in the central nervous system to get relief from pain. Its prolonged use may make the patient addicted. Therefore, ENZOPOL P Tramadol Paracetamol 37.5 mg/ 325 mg Tablet is only used for short-term relief of pain.
Paracetamol is prescribed to relieve pain and reduce fever in patients. It is not a habit-forming drug even if taken for a long time.
Tramadol and Paracetamol are both commonly used medications for managing pain, but they belong to different classes of drugs and have distinct mechanisms of action.
Tramadol is an opioid analgesic that works by binding to opioid receptors in the brain, reducing the perception of pain. It also inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin, which further enhances its pain-relieving effects. Tramadol is often prescribed for moderate to severe pain and can be used for short-term or long-term pain management. It comes in various formulations, including immediate-release tablets and extended-release capsules.
Paracetamol, also known as Acetaminophen, is a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic medication. It works by inhibiting certain enzymes in the body that are involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances that contribute to pain and fever. Paracetamol is commonly used for mild to moderate pain relief and reduction of fever. It is available in various forms, such as tablets, capsules, and liquid suspensions.
While both tramadol and paracetamol can be effective in relieving pain, there are certain differences and considerations to keep in mind. Tramadol carries a higher risk of dependency and potential for abuse due to its opioid properties. It may also cause side effects like drowsiness, constipation, nausea, and respiratory depression, particularly at higher doses. Paracetamol, on the other hand, is generally considered safe when taken within recommended dosage limits, although excessive or prolonged use can lead to liver damage.
