INDICATIONS
PODEASY – Liquid Paraffin + Milk of Magnesia and Sodium Picosulphate is used as a laxative for the use by old aged and bedridden patients. It is also used for clearance of the bowl before endoscopy. It is also beneficial in constipation, pre & post-operative conditions, cardiovascular disorder, and treatment of piles.

ADMINISTRATION OF DOSAGE
The suspension of PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA+SODIUM PICOSULFATE can be taken with or without food. It is to be taken first in a measuring cup of the quantity of solution as prescribed by the doctor and poured into your mouth. Shake the solution contained in the bottle well before each use. The dose & duration of taking this suspension depends upon the medical condition and the purpose for which this solution is being used.

LIQUID PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA+SODIUM PICOSULFATE is the combination of three ingredients used as laxatives. Liquid paraffin works by lubricating the bowels and softening the stools. Milk of magnesia works by augmenting the osmotic gradient in the gut by taking the water into the intestine, thereby helping in bowel evacuation. Sodium Picosulphate works by water absorption in the colonic lumen and stimulating the colon’s propulsive activity, thereby promoting water accumulation. Together, LIQUID PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA+SODIUM PICOSULFATE help in giving relief from constipation. Therefore, the solution is used in the treatment of piles, constipation, anal fissure, hernia, cardiovascular disorder, bowel clearance for endoscopy or radioscopy, and pre & post-operative conditions, and is administered in the elderly and bedridden patients.
