COFJAM Syrup contains Ambroxol 15 mg + Terbutaline 1.25 mg + Guaiphenesin 50 mg + Menthol 1.5 mg, a four combination of medicines available in PET packaging of 100 ML. COFJAM is generally prescribed by General Physicians as an anti-cold remedy.
The combination of Ambroxol + Terbutaline + Guaiphenesin+ Menthol is beneficial in the treatment of cough. Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out. Terbutaline relaxes the muscles in the air pathways and widens the airways Guaiphenesin decreases the stickiness of airway secretions and helps in their removal from the airways. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. COFJAM syrup helps cough and makes breathing easier.
